KNEWA established in the U.A.E. in the year 2002, is an Association of Kasargod Nair expatriates residing in the UAE, working for the welfare of its members and people of our community native of Kasargod, Kerala, India.

KNEWA is a nonprofit organization who offers support, encourages people, share their strength and help in solving each other’s problems by their various community services. We also extend our support to other people who are in need both in UAE and in India. KNEWA is proud to be an establishment with the history of well disciplined social services and multi cultural activities, since 2002.

Our holistic initiatives include educational, charitable, and humanitarian services dedicated to the society by first strengthening the individual. We share a common goal: the restoration of basic human rights such as education, health and employment. KNEWA is committed to encourage multicultural activities of our members and their family.

At KNEWA, we pledge to continue to our commitments towards the society, for the betterment of one and all.

KNEWA:
Founded by a few right thinking individuals, the torch of KNEWA is now being carried forward by a working committee of 47 members. KNEWA is affiliated to the Sharjah Indian Association and operates both in Kasargod, India, and the UAE, standing dedicated to serving the Indian expatriate community. We have strong membership that is constantly growing with more and more expatriates coming into the fold of this community service organization that provides education, training, employment counseling, and alliances for marriage amongst its many services.

Charitable Obligations
KNEWA extends its charitable obligation to the under-privileged and the needy, both in India and in the UAE, providing the necessary financial help to the truly deserving so that they too may live a life of dignity and honor.

Our Role and Impact
KNEWA has played a significant role in impacting the lives of many expatriates in their hour of dire need. Where ever a humanitarian touch is needed, KNEWA is ready and willing to come forward with a helping hand to its fellow brethren, both in the home country and in the UAE.

Special events
Festivals are celebration time when the entire KNEWA members, along with their families, friends and guests get together in joyous spirit, partaking in the festivities, food, competitions and entertainment. A nominal fee is collected from members for each such occasion. Special activities are also organized for members and their families such as Cricket matches for members/families, Painting/drawing competitions, Quiz competitions, Art and Literature workshops amongst others.

Membership
Any individual emanating from Kerala, India, above the age of 18 years is eligible to become a member of KNEWA. A one-time membership of 850AED, and an annual fee of 100AED is to be paid along with the application form enclosing a Passport copy and color photograph. Members are entitled to participate in all such functions, festivals, and events as and when organized, arranged by KNEWA.

KNEWA does not actively seek either individual or corporate donations. However, anyone so desiring to contribute in cash or kind may kindly contact the Secretary or Treasurer to complete the transaction. We take this opportunity to thank all those of you who have been very kind and generous in their support for our organization and its services to the expatriate community in the UAE.
